Non-accredited Training Courses
Non-accredited training courses are a great way to practice your skills, apply your knowledge, get comfortable holding your firearm, and build upon your target shooting experience. From the basic fundamentals of shooting to gun safety, our non-accredited shooting packages and skill-building courses are designed to help you familiarise yourself with firing a gun, practice aiming quickly and accurately, and may install life-saving knowledge and insights about gun safety and shooting-range rules.
Accredited firearm training courses are unit standard based courses accompanies by regulated ITA firearm training manuals and competency examinations. Non-accredited training is not unit-standard based but, rather focuses on developing your skills as a firearm owner. Whether you’re an absolute beginner who simply wants to shoot a gun for the first time, or are a skilled marksmen looking to refresh your knowledge and tactical experience, Gun Fun’s indoor shooting range offers participants the chance to practice and learn the skills you will need to confidently and proficiently use your firearm when faced with a life-threatening situation.

Private Shooting Bays
Gun Fun does not sell ammunition to the public. Private shooters will need to bring their own ammunition or purchase from City Guns. All guns and firearms on our premises are licensed to Gun Fun’s shooting range. We DO NOT hire out firearms for private shooters to use at their leisure. If you wish to use one of our firearms, please explore our indoor shooting packages, available to the public under the strict supervision of our rangers.
If you already have a valid firearm license and wish to practice shooting with your own firearm, our private indoor shooting bays are the perfect option to fire some rounds in a safe and secure environment. Please note: pre-booking is required.

Have you ever marvelled at the effortless precision in James Bond movies and other action-packed adventures and wondered, “How do they make it look so easy?” Contrary to the on-screen theatrics, firing a gun proficiently and accurately involves more than just gunpowder and bravado. Seasoned shooters will tell you that mastering the art of shooting is primarily about building confidence and familiarity with your firearm. Knowing where to place your finger, managing recoil, loading and unloading effectively, and grasping the mechanics of your firearm all contribute towards bettering your skills and gaining an advantage in accredited training courses.
